Jeff was born July 20, 1982 in Kansas City, KS and lived the first part of his life in Leavenworth, KS. He was the oldest of four. His brother, Kevin, just 18 months younger and his twin sisters, Mary and Leslie, born August '92.

Jeff attended schools in Leavenworth and then went on to graduate from Schlagle High School, Kansas City, KS in 2000.

Jeff was close with his very large extended family and was very close with his grandparents. He suffered the loss of three grandparents within 16 months. Leaving only his Grannie Annie, which he enjoyed spending time with and their special bond.

Jeff had a special talent for making friends of all ages and his greatest passion was the outdoors. From riding dirt bikes to fishing, hunting and camping to playing guitar, going to Bull Shoals Lake with his uncle, or just drinking beers with his buddies.

He was always taking on new challenges, such as the purchase of his first home, which had many projects. He even chartered a ten year goal, which included plans of owning acreage in the country, and owning his own business in which family members were employed “maybe”.

His plans were tragically taken from him when on April 9, 2008, just after midnight, 4 to 5 individuals kicked in his door. Jeff fought back, but was shot and stabbed. He died on the way to the hospital. No arrests have been made at this time and the family pleads for anyone with information to please call the Tips Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.

Jeff's faith in God carried him through life and he professed Jesus Christ as his saviour at an early age.
